43rd USAEE North American Conference
November 15—18, 2026 | Pittsburgh, PA
Mills is the author of The Cloud Revolution: How the Convergence of New Technologies Will Unleash the Next Economic Boom and a Roaring 2020s, (2021). Previous books include Digital Cathedrals: The Information Infrastructure Era, (2020), Work In The Age Of Robots (2018), and The Bottomless Well, (co-authored with Peter Huber, 2005), about which Bill Gates said, "This is the only book I've ever seen that really explains energy."
He is also a contributing editor at City Journal, a faculty fellow at Northwestern University's school of engineering, and co-founding partner in Montrose Lane. His online PragerU videos have been viewed over 10 million times.
Mills' presentation, titled, "The Physics of Money", will demonstrate this central fact: that energy realities exist at the intersection of economics, physics, and politics. And further, that these realities are unchanged by the market disruptions of 2026, and in fact are heightened as a result of those events.
Mills' opening keynote presentation, scheduled for Monday morning, November 16, will be insightful and thought-provoking, and will set the stage for the balance of the USAEE conference.
Early bird savings are available through July 31—register now to save. In addition, reservations are open at the conference host hotel, the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Suites Pittsburgh Downtown, at the special USAEE group rate of $159 per night.
The theme for this year's conference is DISRUPTION: The State of Energy Markets in 2026 and Beyond.
