Steel, Trade, and Supply Chains — CEO Perspectives on Energy and Economic Growth
From pipelines and transmission towers to vehicles and heavy equipment, steel remains a critical input for energy and industrial development. But today’s global supply chains face mounting pressures–from shifting trade policies and tariffs to geopolitical volatility, decarbonization demands, and reshoring efforts. This CEO-level conversation will examine how steel producers and consumers are navigating these disruptions and what it means for the future of infrastructure, investment, and growth.
Moderated by author and strategic advisor Ravi Kutharia, this session will probe how global steel and manufacturing leaders are adapting to policy headwinds, rethinking supply chain dependencies, and planning for energy-intensive capital expansion.
Attendees will gain firsthand insight into the interplay between trade policy, industrial capacity, and long-term energy demand–key issues that will shape the next era of economic and energy resilience.
