Ryan Sweezey is a Research Director at Wood Mackenzie Power & Renewables. He leads a team of analysts producing long-term fundamental power market forecasts covering the US, Canada, Mexico, and Southern Cone. Prior to Wood Mackenzie, Ryan worked for EDP Renewables where he worked to develop the company’s long-term view of market fundamentals, conducted risk analysis, and provided market and strategic analysis for the executive team. Before EDPR, he also supported long-term generation planning as part of Entergy’s system planning organization. Ryan has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.
