IAEE Sessions at ASSA 2026
Sessions organized by the International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE) will be featured at the 2026 Allied Social Sciences Association (ASSA) meeting, which will take place January 3-5, 2026, in Philadelphia, PA.
The schedule for IAEE sessions at the 2026 ASSA Annual Meeting will be announced at a later date. Meeting registration details are likewise forthcoming.
The submission portal for the IAEE sessions is open through April 15, 2025:
We invite submissions on all topics related to energy and environmental economics for consideration in our program. Each session will consist of paper presentations followed by a discussant’s commentary. See last year’s sessions here for more context on the types of presentations that are of interest.
Submission Details
- Deadline: April 15, 2025
- Submission Link: Oxford Abstracts. Note that login is required to submit through Oxford Abstracts.
- IAEE Membership: Not required at the time of submission, but at least one author of an accepted paper must be a member upon acceptance.
- Presentation Format: In-person only (virtual presentations are not permitted).
- Submission Limits: No restrictions on the number of submissions, but each accepted paper must have a different presenter.
A selection committee with input from peer reviewers will evaluate submissions based on their academic rigor, relevance, and contribution to the field.

The ASSA Annual Meeting is held each January by the AEA in conjunction with the 66 associations in related disciplines that form the Allied Social Science Associations and features the presentation of papers on general economics topics.
