Less than 60 miles from Fort Worth stands the Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant. The plant is operated by Vistra Corp based in Irving, TX. Vistra is the largest competitive power generator in the U.S. from a diverse mix of sources including natural gas, nuclear, solar, and battery storage. This tour will include briefings on the grounds of the facility, followed by an escorted visit into the generating plant itself. The tour includes transportation to and from The Worthington Renaissance Fort Worth Hotel.
**NOTE** Due to plant regulatory restrictions and minimum staffing requirements, this tour is limited to 15 participants. This tour will also require advance security screenings.
